What to Expect
Your visit starts with a consultation where your provider will review your skin concerns, discuss your goals, and personalize a treatment plan built around your needs.
During the BBL HEROic portion, your provider delivers light energy to target pigment, redness, and inflammation. This brightens your complexion and helps support your skin as it heals. The Moxi laser follows, using fractional laser energy to resurface and stimulate collagen at a deeper level. This lifts the overall quality of your skin over the course of the series.
Each session takes about 60 to 90 minutes. Most patients describe the sensation as warm and tolerable. You may notice some redness or a bronzed texture in the days after as the skin naturally exfoliates. Many patients return to their normal routine the same day. Improvement builds with every treatment, and most patients see a clearer, firmer complexion after a few sessions.
Pre & Post Care
Before your appointment:
Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for two to four weeks before treatment. Discontinue retinoids, glycolic acids, and exfoliating skincare products five to seven days before your session. Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, lotion, or sunscreen. Let your provider know if you take medications that increase light sensitivity or if you have a history of cold sores.
After your treatment:
Mild warmth and redness are normal and typically fade within 24 hours. Over the next few days, you may notice small dark spots or a sandpaper-like texture as the skin naturally exfoliates. Cleanse gently twice daily, hydrate and protect your skin with moisturizer, and wear SPF 30 or higher every day. Avoid sun exposure until your skin is fully healed.
