Full Facial Balancing

Denver & Greenwood Village, CO

The Complete Transformation

About This Treatment

What Is Full Facial Balancing?

Facial balancing is a personalized approach to enhancing your appearance without surgery. It uses strategic placement of dermal filler and neurotoxin to refine your facial contours and improve natural symmetry. Rather than changing one isolated feature, the goal is to treat the face as a whole so every area works together in a harmonious way.

Your injector evaluates your facial proportions, bone structure, and areas of volume loss or asymmetry. From there, they build a customized treatment plan using FDA-approved products to highlight your natural beauty.

What Does Full Facial BalancingTreat?

Facial balancing can address a wide range of concerns. Because the treatment looks at the big picture, it is one of the most versatile options in aesthetics. Common areas include:

  • Flat or hollow cheeks that have lost youthful volume
  • A weak or recessed chin that throws off facial proportions
  • Jawline definition and contour for a sharper profile
  • Under-eye hollows that create a tired look
  • Thin or uneven lips that feel out of proportion
  • Dynamic wrinkles like frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead lines caused by overactive facial muscles
  • Asymmetry between the left and right sides of the face
  • Signs of aging such as sagging or lost collagen support

Ideal Candidates

Am I a Good Candidate?

Most healthy adults are good candidates for a facial balancing treatment. This approach works well if you:

  • Want to look refreshed and rejuvenated, not "done"
  • Have noticed volume loss or changes in your facial structure over time
  • Feel that one feature seems out of balance with the rest of your face
  • Are looking for natural-looking results without looking overdone
  • Want to address multiple areas in one visit for a more complete refresh

Facial balancing isn't limited to patients who want dramatic changes. Many Denver facial balancing patients simply want a subtle enhancement that helps them feel more confident.

Let your injector know if you have severe allergies, autoimmune conditions, active cold sores, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. During your consultation, your nurse will review your history, assess your facial features, and tailor a plan to your goals and budget.

Your Experience

What to Expect

Here is what a facial balancing session involves at Boujee Nurse.

Consultation and Assessment

Your appointment starts with a one-on-one conversation with your nurse injector. They will evaluate your facial structure, discuss your concerns, and outline which areas could benefit from treatment. You will talk through the type of filler used, any neurotoxin that may help, and what the best results will look like for your unique face.

Numbing and Preparation

A topical numbing cream is applied to keep you comfortable. The hyaluronic acid fillers we use, including Restylane and Revanesse, contain built-in lidocaine. Most patients describe the process as mild pressure rather than pain.

The Treatment

Using dermal fillers to enhance volume and, where helpful, neuromodulators like Botox, your injector places product in targeted areas. The type of filler and amount depends on your personalized treatment plan. Some patients need volume in the cheeks and jawline while others benefit from lip filler or chin projection. A typical session takes 30 to 60 minutes for focused areas or up to 90 minutes when treating the full face.

After Your Appointment

You may notice mild swelling or bruising right after treatment. Downtime is minimal, and most patients return to their normal routine the same day. Filler results are visible right away, though final results settle over two to four weeks. Neurotoxin results appear within seven to fourteen days.

Care Instructions

Pre & Post Care

Because facial balancing typically involves both dermal filler and neurotoxin injections, follow the care guidelines for each.

Before Your Appointment

Start taking Arnica Montana tablets three to four days before treatment to reduce bruising. Avoid blood thinners like fish oil, aspirin, and ibuprofen unless prescribed by your doctor. If you are prone to cold sores, take Valtrex or Acyclovir for three to four days before and two to three days after. Dermal filler cannot be placed if you have active cold sores, open wounds, or dental work within two weeks.

After Your Appointment

Continue with Arnica and drink plenty of water. An antihistamine like Zyrtec can help with puffiness. Do not massage the injected areas, as this may shift filler placement. Avoid direct sun exposure, extreme heat, strenuous exercise, and lying face down for four hours after neurotoxin treatment. Mild swelling or bruising typically fade within a few days, and filler used in the face takes two to four weeks to fully settle.

Honest, Safety-First Approach

We will always be honest with you. Facial balancing depends on careful assessment and restraint, not on using as much filler as possible. Our goal is to enhance your facial contours in a way that looks natural. We use only FDA-approved, science-backed products like hyaluronic acid fillers and neurotoxins to restore lost volume and help you rejuvenate your look.

Common Questions

Full Facial BalancingFAQ

Facial balancing is a personalized approach that treats the face as a whole rather than one feature. Your injector uses dermal fillers for volume and contouring along with neurotoxins to relax overactive muscles. The result is improved overall facial harmony and a youthful appearance.

The benefits of facial balancing go beyond any single treatment. You get a more balanced, proportionate look that enhances your natural features. Common benefits include improved symmetry, a more defined jawline, fuller cheeks, and smoother skin around the eyes and forehead. Because the plan is tailored to you, results look natural.

How long results last depends on the type of filler used and the areas treated. Hyaluronic acid fillers like Restylane, Revanesse, and Juvederm typically last six to eighteen months. Neurotoxins like Botox and Dysport last three to four months. Collagen stimulators like Sculptra can produce results that last two or more years. Your injector will discuss a maintenance schedule during your facial balancing consultation.

The most common side effects include swelling or bruising at the injection sites, mild tenderness, and temporary redness. These typically resolve within a few days. Serious side effects are rare when treatment is performed by an experienced nurse injector using FDA-approved products.

Many patients find facial balancing is one of the most rewarding treatments they have tried. Instead of addressing one concern at a time, it creates a cohesive result that can make you look years younger. Every plan is customized, so you and your injector choose exactly where to focus.

Facial balancing involves injectable treatments that must be performed by licensed medical professionals. At Boujee Nurse, all injections are administered by Registered Nurses who specialize in aesthetic medicine. Estheticians can perform certain skin treatments like chemical peels and facials, but dermal filler and neurotoxin injections require clinical training and medical oversight.

Recovery is minimal for most patients. You may notice some swelling or bruising for a few days. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours and do not massage the treated areas. Filler results are visible right away, with final results settling in about two to four weeks. Your injector will give you a clear aftercare plan.
