What Is HydraFacial?
A HydraFacial is a multi-step facial that uses patented vortex technology to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and hydrate your skin. Unlike manual extractions or traditional facials, this medical-grade treatment uses gentle suction and nourishing serums to remove dead skin cells and impurities without discomfort or downtime.
The process is also known as hydradermabrasion because it pairs the power of exfoliation with deep hydration. Each session takes about 30 to 45 minutes, and you can return to your normal activities right after.
What Does HydraFacialTreat?

A HydraFacial is safe and effective for nearly all skin types, making it one of the most versatile facial treatments available. You may be a good candidate if you:
- Want to refresh and hydrate your skin without downtime
- Have sensitive skin that does not tolerate harsher treatments
- Are dealing with acne, clogged pores, or dull skin
- Want a luxurious, relaxing treatment that still delivers real results
- Are looking for a non-invasive facial to pair with your existing skincare routine
The treatment is safe for most skin types and can be adjusted to target your concerns. However, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please let your provider know so we can discuss the best options for you. Patients with active rashes, sunburn, or open wounds on the treatment area should wait until the skin has healed. If you are unsure, schedule a consultation and our team will help you decide.
What to Expect
Your visit begins with a skin assessment. Your provider will review your skin health, discuss your concerns, and customize a treatment plan just for you.
The HydraFacial itself is a multi-step process that combines cleansing, extraction, and hydration.
First, gentle exfoliation removes dead skin cells from the surface. Next, a mild solution loosens debris from your pores. Then, using patented vortex suction, your provider will extract impurities and congestion without the discomfort of manual extractions.
After extraction, the device delivers targeted skin serums packed with antioxidants, peptides, and hydration directly into your skin, infusing the skin at a deeper level than topical products alone. You can also choose a booster to address specific concerns like fine lines, redness, or dullness.
Our signature HydraFacial includes LED light therapy and a detoxifying lymphatic drainage facial massage to help soothe the skin and boost radiance.
The entire session takes about 30 to 45 minutes. There is no downtime, no peeling, and the treatment is soothing from start to finish. You can apply makeup and go about your day right after. Most patients notice a visible glow and hydrated skin immediately after just one HydraFacial treatment.
Pre & Post Care
Before your appointment:
Arrive with a clean face and avoid using harsh exfoliating products or retinoids for three to five days before your session. If you have any active skin conditions, let your provider know ahead of time.
After your treatment:
Your skin may look slightly flushed for an hour or two, but this fades quickly. Avoid direct sun exposure and apply SPF to protect your refreshed complexion. Stick with gentle cleansers and moisturizers for the first 24 hours.

Why Boujee Nurse?
At Boujee Nurse, we are not a corporate med spa. Here is what makes us different:
Boutique care, not a factory. Our team is intentionally small. You will see the same trusted providers every visit, not a revolving door of staff. That consistency means better results and a relationship built on trust.
RN-led, MD-supervised. Our aesthetic nurses are Registered Nurses with advanced training. Lead injector Rachel Ross, BSN, RN, CANS, brings over 12 years of experience. Dr. Gregory Buford, a board-certified plastic surgeon with 25 years of experience, serves as Medical Director. You are in expert hands.
Customized, never cookie-cutter. We personalize every HydraFacial around your unique skin concerns, lifestyle, and budget. If we think another facial treatment would serve you better, we will always be honest about that. Our goal is your best skin, not the biggest sale.
Beyond HydraFacials, we also offer SkinPen microneedling, chemical peels, PRP facials, and other skin rejuvenation treatments at both locations. Looking for injectables? Ask about our neurotoxins including Botox and Dysport, lip filler, and dermal fillers to complement your skincare results.

A HydraFacial is a non-invasive facial that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration into one session. It uses a patented device with vortex technology that gently exfoliates dead skin cells and delivers nourishing serums deep into your pores. Most patients see instant results after just one treatment, and the process involves zero downtime. It is well worth it for anyone who wants clearer, brighter, more radiant skin.
Yes. One of the key steps in a HydraFacial is extraction. The vortex suction gently loosens and removes blackheads, whiteheads, and other pore congestion. This process is much more comfortable than manual extractions and helps clear congestion without irritation. Regular treatments can also help prevent comedones from building up over time.
It depends on your skin's current condition. In general, you should stop using tretinoin and other retinoids for three to five days before your HydraFacial. This helps prevent excess sensitivity during the treatment. Your provider will review your skincare routine during your consultation and give you personalized guidance.
The HydraFacial device uses a special handpiece with patented vortex technology. It works in multiple steps: first, it cleanses and exfoliates the surface of your skin. Then it loosens and removes dead skin cells and impurities with gentle suction. Finally, it delivers hydrating serums, antioxidants, and peptides that nourish and protect your skin. The result is a cleaner, smoother, more hydrated complexion in a single visit.
A HydraFacial offers several benefits in a single session. It unclogs pores, reduces the appearance of fine lines, evens your skin tone, and improves overall skin health. The treatment also delivers antioxidant protection and deep hydration. Many patients walk out with glowing, radiant skin and a noticeably brighter complexion right away.
For the best results, we recommend regular treatments about once a month. Monthly sessions help keep your skin clear, hydrated, and fresh. Some patients prefer to come in more often before a special event or during seasonal changes. During your consultation, your provider will suggest a schedule based on your skin type and concerns.
HydraFacials are very safe and have minimal side effects. Some patients notice slight redness or warmth right after treatment, but this typically fades within an hour. The treatment is non-irritating and effective for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Serious side effects are extremely rare when the treatment is performed by a trained provider.
Yes, a HydraFacial is safe for all skin types, including sensitive and easily irritated skin. The treatment does not rely on harsh chemicals or aggressive exfoliation. The serums used are gentle, non-irritating, and hydrating. Your provider can customize each step to match your comfort level and address your specific needs.
The cost of a HydraFacial depends on the level of treatment you choose. A signature HydraFacial may differ in price from a HydraFacial deluxe session with added boosters or LED light therapy. New patients at Boujee Nurse receive a $100 credit toward their first treatment. We also offer financing options to make your skin rejuvenation goals more accessible. For an accurate quote, we recommend booking a consultation.
