What to Expect
Your appointment begins with a skin assessment. Your provider will review your concerns, your skincare routine, and your goals. Together, you will create a personalized treatment plan.
Your provider starts by cleansing your skin and applying a numbing cream. Once prepped, SkinPen microneedling creates tiny microchannels in the surface layer of skin. These channels allow the PDRN serum to absorb deeply, reaching the layers where it can stimulate collagen and support skin repair.
The PDRN solution works as an antiinflammatory and regenerative ingredient that helps heal tissue and boost collagen production. Because PDRN closely resembles human DNA, it is well accepted by the body and supports wound healing and cellular regeneration at the source.
The procedure takes about 60 to 90 minutes. Most clients describe the sensation as mild. Redness is common and typically fades within 24 to 48 hours. Pre & Post Care
Before your appointment:
Make sure your skin is clean and free of makeup, lotions, and skincare products. Stop using retinoids, exfoliating products, and waxing at least three to five days before treatment. Avoid chemical peels, laser treatments, and microblading for two to four weeks before your appointment. If you have a history of cold sores, consider taking antiviral medication in advance.
After your treatment:
Do not wash the treated area for 24 hours. Avoid exercise, saunas, and steam rooms during this recovery period. Use gentle cleansers, moisturizers, vitamin C, and SPF as part of your post-care routine. Avoid contact with pets on the day of treatment. Use a clean pillowcase and do not wear makeup or hats for 24 hours.
