Fire & Ice Facial

The Art of Radiant Skin

About This Treatment

What Is Fire & Ice Facial?

The Fire and Ice Facial is a two-phase professional skin treatment designed to resurface and rejuvenate your skin in a single session. Often called the "red carpet facial," it pairs an intensive resurfacing masque with a soothing rejuvenating masque to deeply exfoliate and hydrate your face.

The first phase uses potent botanical acids and retinol to encourage cellular renewal and gently peel away dull, dry surface cells. The second phase delivers a cool, calming masque with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and green tea extract to replenish moisture and leave your skin feeling refreshed.

What Does Fire & Ice FacialTreat?

A key benefit of this dynamic duo is its ability to address many skin concerns in one session. Because the treatment can be tailored to your specific needs, it is effective for a wide range of skin types. Common concerns a Fire and Ice Facial can help with include:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Dull or uneven complexion
  • Rough or uneven skin texture
  • The look of blemishes and mild breakouts
  • Dry or dehydrated skin
  • Redness and sensitivity
  • Sun damage and loss of radiance

  • Want to improve your complexion without downtime
  • Have dull, tired-looking skin that needs a deep refresh
  • Are preparing for a special event and want a youthful glow
  • Experience mild redness or uneven skin tone
  • Want to safely exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin without harsh chemical peels

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have active cold sores or open wounds, please let your provider know. Patients with recent sunburn should wait until the skin has healed. If you are unsure whether this treatment is right for you, schedule a consultation and our team will guide you.

Your Experience

What to Expect

Your appointment begins with a gentle cleanse to prepare your skin. Your provider will assess your face and discuss your goals before starting.

Phase one: The Fire. The intensive resurfacing masque is applied to your skin. It contains botanical acids and retinol that work together to exfoliate and encourage cellular renewal. You may feel a mild warming sensation and a slight tingle as the product goes to work. This phase is designed to resurface the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Phase two: The Ice. After the resurfacing masque is removed, the rejuvenating masque is applied. This cool, hydrating masque is packed with aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, and green tea extract. It soothes the skin, locks in moisture, and helps reduce any redness from the first phase. The cooling effect feels incredibly calming and refreshing.

The entire session takes about 30 to 45 minutes. There is no downtime, and side effects are minimal. Some patients notice mild redness right after, but this typically fades within an hour. You can apply makeup and return to your regular routine right away. Most patients leave with visibly smoother, more radiant skin.

Care Instructions

Pre & Post Care

Before your appointment:
Arrive with a clean face. Avoid using retinol, exfoliating products, or harsh skincare for three to five days before your session. Let your provider know about any active skin conditions or recent treatments.

After your treatment:
Your skin may appear slightly flushed for a short time, but this fades quickly. Avoid direct sun exposure and apply SPF to protect your refreshed complexion. Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer for the first 24 hours.

Common Questions

Fire & Ice FacialFAQ

A Fire and Ice Facial uses two professional masques to resurface and rejuvenate your skin. The "fire" masque exfoliates with botanical acids and retinol to promote cellular renewal. The "ice" masque soothes and hydrates with hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and green tea extract. Together, they improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and leave your face looking smooth and radiant.

Most patients find the experience comfortable. During the first phase, you may feel a mild warming sensation and a slight tingle as the resurfacing masque works to exfoliate your skin. The second phase is cool and calming. Side effects are minimal, and any mild redness usually fades within an hour.

Results from a single Fire and Ice Facial typically last about two to four weeks. For the best long-term results, many patients schedule regular treatments every four to six weeks. Your provider can recommend a specific plan based on your skin goals.

Yes. The Fire and Ice Facial is one of the most effective professional facials for brighter, smoother skin with no downtime. It is a popular choice in the aesthetics world because it delivers visible results after one session. Many patients consider it their go-to facial before events or as part of a regular skincare routine.

Pricing for a Fire and Ice Facial depends on your customized treatment plan. New patients at Boujee Nurse receive a $100 credit toward their first treatment. We also offer financing options to make your skin goals more accessible. For a personalized quote, schedule a consultation or call us at (303) 900-8751.
