Sculptra is an injection made from PLLA, a biocompatible material that your body absorbs safely over time. Unlike traditional fillers that add instant volume, Sculptra works gradually by stimulating your body's own collagen production beneath the skin.

What to Expect
Your treatment begins with a personalized treatment plan built around your aesthetic goals. On appointment day, we prep the targeted areas and apply a topical anesthetic to enhance your comfort during the injection process.
Each session runs 30 to 45 minutes with minimal downtime. Your injector will inject the product into deeper skin layers at specific injection sites to boost collagen where you need it most. Most patients schedule two to three sessions, spaced a few weeks apart.
You may notice subtle improvements as new collagen forms. Full results appear gradually over several months. Check out our results page for before-and-after photos.
Pre & Post Care
Before Your Appointment: Avoid NSAIDs (Aspirin, Advil, Ibuprofen), Ginkgo Biloba, garlic supplements, green tea, flax oil, cod liver oil, and vitamins A and E for one week before treatment. Taking Arnica tablets a few days prior may reduce the chance of a bruise. Skip alcohol 24 hours beforehand and share any cold sore or keloid scar history with your provider.
After Treatment: Massage the treated areas with topical arnica to support even distribution. Follow the 5-5-5 rule: five-minute massages, five times daily for five days, then twice daily for six weeks. Use Tylenol for tenderness, avoid prolonged sun exposure, apply SPF, and skip strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Wait four weeks before laser or skin-tightening treatments. Some redness or mild swelling at injection sites is normal and fades within days.

Pricing at Boujee Nurse starts at $750 per vial. Most patients need two to four vials, and a typical series involves two to three sessions. Your consultation includes a full cost outline based on your youthful look goals.
The 5-5-5 rule is a post-treatment massage protocol: massage the treated areas five minutes, five times per day, for five days after each injection. This distributes the product evenly and supports uniform collagen production.
This treatment requires patience. Results are not instant like a dermal filler, and multiple sessions spaced weeks apart are needed. It takes several months to see your full results. Some patients experience mild swelling, redness, or a small bruise at injection sites. These side effects are temporary and resolve within days.
Sculptra is one of the most cost-effective aesthetic injectables available. Results can last up to two years, so you spend less on upkeep than with dermal fillers that need touch-ups every six to twelve months.
